Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of Stylehub. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Stylehub for a company, you confirm you may accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" then means that company.
1. Definitions
- Service: stylehub.cloud, the application behind it, and the brand hubs it publishes.
- Workspace: a brand you create, with its manuals, files, members and settings.
- Content: everything you put into a workspace, including text, colors, logos, images, fonts and documents.
- Brand hub: a manual you publish to a public address.
2. The service
Stylehub lets you build brand manuals from blocks and publish them on a Stylehub subdomain or your own domain. We improve the product continuously, so features can be added, changed or retired. We will not remove something a paid plan is built around without telling paying customers first and giving a reasonable window.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You need an account to use the service, and you must be at least 16 years old. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens in your workspaces, including what the people you invite do there.
Owner
Every workspace has exactly one owner, who controls billing and can delete the workspace. Ownership can be handed to another member from the Team page. If you want to close your account and still own a shared workspace, hand it over first so your colleagues do not lose their work.
4. Plans, billing and taxes
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page, currently $29 for Pro and $99 for Business per month.
- You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps access until the paid period ends.
- Prices exclude VAT and other taxes unless stated. Where we must charge tax, it is added at checkout.
- Except where the law says otherwise, payments already made are not refunded. If we fail badly on our side, talk to us.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing period, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- If a payment fails we may suspend paid features after a reasonable grace period. Your content stays put during that time.
What a downgrade does
Downgrading applies the lower plan limits going forward. Nothing you made is deleted because of it. A manual already using a paid template or password protection keeps working; you simply cannot switch another one onto those options until you upgrade again. History keeps being recorded for everyone, and a lower plan only narrows how far back you can look.
5. Your content
Your Content stays yours. To run the service we need a limited, worldwide, royalty free license to host, store, copy, adapt for display, and publish it, strictly for operating Stylehub for you, including serving your published brand hubs and generating exports and previews. The license ends when you delete the Content or your account, apart from backup copies that expire on their normal schedule.
Rights you must have
You confirm you may use everything you upload for this purpose. Fonts deserve a specific mention: a desktop font license usually does not cover serving a font file from a website. Uploading a font to Stylehub publishes it on your brand hub, so make sure your license allows web use. The same applies to stock photography and to logos of third parties.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload or publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful material;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy or personality rights of others;
- use a brand hub to impersonate a company or person you do not represent;
- probe, scan, overload or otherwise attack the service or its infrastructure;
- work around plan limits, or share one account across separate organizations to avoid paying;
- use the service to store material unrelated to brand documentation, such as a general file dump or a backup service;
- resell or white label the service without a written agreement with us.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the breach is minor and fixable we will ask you to fix it first.
7. Published brand hubs and domains
You decide whether a manual is public, unlisted, password protected or private, and you are responsible for what you make public. If you connect a custom domain, you confirm you control it, and you keep the DNS records we ask for in place. We issue and renew TLS certificates for connected domains. Subdomains on stylehub.cloud are provided for use with the service, not sold to you, and we may reclaim one that infringes a trademark or breaks these Terms.
8. Data protection
For workspace Content you are the controller and we act as your processor. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process, on what basis and for how long, and lists our subprocessors. If your organization needs a signed data processing agreement, write to privacy@stylehub.cloud.
9. Third party services
Some features rely on third parties: Stripe for payments, Google Fonts for web fonts you choose, and embeds from providers such as YouTube, Vimeo, Loom and Figma. Their terms apply to those parts, and we are not responsible for what they do or for content they serve.
10. Availability and support
We work to keep Stylehub available and take backups, but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee unless we agree one with you in writing. Maintenance may briefly interrupt access, and we schedule it outside European business hours where we can. Support is by email; Business plan customers are answered first.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Stylehub at any time. Cancelling a subscription ends the paid plan; deleting a workspace removes it and its files; deleting your account removes the account and any workspace nobody else is in. Those actions cannot be undone, so export what you need first, under Dashboard then Export.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if your account has been unpaid for a prolonged period. Except where the law or a serious breach prevents it, we give you a reasonable chance to export your Content before it goes.
12. Warranties and disclaimer
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is: we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that the guidance you build with it complies with any given standard or regulation.
Statutory rights that cannot be excluded, including consumer rights, are not affected by anything in this section.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of goodwill. Our total liability for any claim in a twelve month period is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
You will cover us against third party claims arising from your Content or from your use of the service in breach of these Terms, including reasonable legal costs. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you take part in the defence.
15. Intellectual property in the service
Stylehub, including the software, the name, the mark and the design of the application, belongs to us. These Terms give you a right to use the service, not a right to its code or branding. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without obligation.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service develops. For changes that materially affect a paid plan we give at least 30 days notice by email. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you do not, you can cancel before it applies.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts of Switzerland have jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
18. Miscellaneous
If a provision turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a right immediately does not waive it. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business, on notice to you.
